The Olney Area Pilots Association is having a chili fly-in on Saturday, October 13th from 11-2!
Whether you fly, build, restore or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to attend our events and join our chapter. We are a group of aviation enthusiasts, aircraft builders, and pilots who get together with like minded people to share ideas, exchange information, encourage safety, serve the local aviation community and have a lot of fun doing so. Please come to our next meeting or event as our guest.
We meet on the first Thursday of the month. Typically in years past this has been in the Q-3 classroom at Willard Airport. This year most of our meetings will be off-site (e.g.) hosted by a member to show a project-in-progress. Please check the calendar for the most recent information.
Free airplane rides for kids 8 - 17 years old!
Location: Parkland Institute of Aviation at Willard Airport, Savoy
This rally is part of the EAA Young Eagles Program, created to interest young people in aviation. Since the program was launched in 1992, volunteer EAA pilots have flown more than 2 million young people who reside in more than 90 countries.
Note: This event is weather permitting. Check our Facebook page for updates.
Start planning to attend chapter meetings on the first Thursday of each month except for June and September. For details about our meetings visit the meetings page. We look forward to seeing you.
Our chapter is part of the worldwide network of EAA chapters. EAA embodies the spirit of aviation through the world's most engages community of aviation enthusiasts.
